Artist's Comments

As soon as I saw this shot in thumbnail in Adobe Bridge, I knew I needed to work on it next. Yet again, :icon1138grl: shows what an amazing model she is. She was an absolute joy to work with.

I think there is a possibility that this one could be even better so I would love any suggestions. For example, I was thinking about adding a little blur to draw attention to her face or using the elliptical tool in Photoshop around her face with a high feather and darkening the inversion a bit.

Great title for this one, she does indeed look resplendent here with the light again caressing her not only from behind but all around. It is sort of intense, so if you're going to darken, I would do it on her face and maybe on the side of her body that has the most light on it.

Nice shot of a lovely model. She has her arms/hips/hands/fingers positioned gracefully, and your crop and composition tie it all together.

My personal take is that her top half is a little too dark, and considering the very bright white light from behind and there's no prominent light in front casting deep shadows, I'd lighten her top half a little instead of darkening it.

A thin black border and and some darkening/vignetting at the corners would draw the eye to the model. Nice photo...certainly one that I'd toy with to get exactly the way I want it.

Wonderful shot Dan. I think this has to be my favorite of your shoot with her. Lovely pose and framing. Sorry I haven't gotten into much of the model editing so by input is no good. Keep it up!

Thanks for the advice. I may end up trying a couple of different things and see how it goes. It's definitely worth working on, though.

Thanks for taking the time to provide some thoughtful advice. I'll definitely add a border. I think the white might be too hot for vignetting, though, but I'll take a peek. It may be a while before I update it. I want to see what everyone has to say first :).
